Sally Martin at the Wells Road practice

Sally Martin is a certified Stott Pilates Mat Based Instructor, having completed her initial training back in 2007.
Sally is keen to help you bridge the gap between using Pilates for rehabilitation and incorporating the skills into your everyday life.
Stott Pilates is often referred to as the 'ivy league' School of Pilates and prides itself on only graduating the best instructors.

Sallys background comes from Sports Massage, having worked in the field with a vast client base for 10 years, she also works as a Personal Trainer, therefore mixing principles and techniques of all three disciplines for her clients, for complete body management.

Clients will always feel welcomed and comfortable, in the sessions, and every effort will be made to keep the exercises varied and challenging.

More recently Sally has completed an advanced assessment course of the Pelvis and Spine, under the guidance of John Gibbons BSc (OST) at the University of Oxford Sports Complex. This has enabled her to have a more in depth understanding of the areas and identify specific dysfunction within the musculo-skeletal framework.

Sally a full time mum, a grandma, and running her own business, Sally understands the pressures and time constraints everyday life can bring. Let Sally help you fit your program around your life, so nothing becomes a chore and everything gets results.

Joyce Tyson

Joyce Tyson

Joyce completed her training with Body Control Pilates in 1999, and is a member of the Body Control Pilates association, widely seen as a quality standard for Pilates teaching. Members adhere to a strict Code of Practice, ensuring highest teaching standards and professional ethics. Joyce constantly seeks to develop her professional standards with regular Development Weekends and through her own personal practice.

She has very loyal clients, many of who have been coming to see her for most of the time that she has been teaching. Her clients say they miss Pilates when there's a break, and notice a real difference in the way they feel. Her teaching style is relaxed and approachable, while paying attention to the precision that is the Pilates Method.

Joyce feels that exercise should be enjoyable and she strives to help her clients feel confident and comfortable, as well as challenged while exercising.

Classes are kept small and are tailored to the differing needs of the group.

Joyce's background is massage (she qualified in 1990) which goes well with Pilates. She also has a good working knowledge of other therapies, so can refer people when necessary, therefore offering a "rounded" service.

Pilates, amongst many things, has added to Joyce's love of dance, improved her posture and low back pain, giving her a greater sense of inner and outer strength, and has kept her healthy over the years.
