A personal trainer is not there to carry you on your journey to fitness. A personal trainer is there to help you make your own journey, and reduce your chance of failure along the way.
A personal trainer won't make you an athlete, unless you want them to. What they will do is provide you with the tools to make a healthier, fitter, happier you. The tools you are given are for living your life, not winning a race.
Whatever your goals, whatever your journey, think of a personal trainer as your navigator -you might find the way yourself, but only a personal trainer can find the quickest, safest and healthiest path.
